In 2013 I got an early head for my S/N W312 engine. It was rusted together pretty tight
These springs and retaimers were used up to engine number W84246
I was able to get a set of NOS early valves for this
Looking pretty rough and rusty starting out, the head cleaned up nice
With the valves lapped it is time to assemble
