The WC had very quick steering with only 3 1/2 turns of the steering wheel lock to lock
Some after-market suppliers made an Easy-Steer solution, one of my parts tractors had one
I decided to install it on this one of mine
The mounting plate is eccentric and allows the gear mesh to be adjusted
With the frame rail off we can see this rearend was cast on March 28 1939
A look inside before the steering shaft is mounted
It's not a real big job but a few things need to come apart
Wiring and light repair was a good winter project
A dedicated ground wire was needed to get the work light working consistently
The grill shroud was bent in on the bottom and had a few other dings to tend to
