On arrival. The unit balances nicely on the factory lift point

The carburetor had the brass fitting broken off, I drilled it and peeled out the threads

The brass tag was easy to read

With the internals removed and cleaned, it will need gaskets and needle and seat

Masked off and all holes plugged it could be painted

All passages clear, dry and ready for re-assembly

The old broken fitting is just there for the picture

This hose didn't come in the correct length and needed to be cut to size

The well ventilated air cleaner oil cup will need attention

The oil filter still had the stick in it and there was no riser pipe on the filter mount

The gas tank still had a functional gas gauge in it rattling around
