The grill needed some straightening and tweaking but turned out nice

The side panels just needed a few dings straightened. Blasted and painted they look good

The bushing was sloppy on the distributor so it couldn't be timed, with a different one it was stable.

After sitting outside as long as this had, giving the carburetor a cleaning was deemed a good idea

The side panels are mounted with new hardware, lots of fasteners

The carburetor looks nice but the loose muffler with one of the bolts broken doesn't

The center rail cleaned and painted, this piece didn't get much else done to it

The radiator shroud needed lots of straightening and work before painting

The tank strap was just stripped and painted, one of the quicker pieces

The new choke knob from Steiner looks like it should

It leaked from under the thermostat housing so that had to get a new gasket and sealing

The thermostat tested fine in hot water opening and closing when it should and now no leaks

Really looks different with the grill and new badge up front

The loose muffler needed to be addressed.
The top bolt that was there broke too so both needed to be drilled and tapped.

With new bolts the muffler doesn't flop around anymore

Now if the hood panels were ready
