New parts were made at Agrimson Tool Company
Item numbers 2 and 3 Water Pump Bushings, and 15 Water Pump Thrust Washer

The early water pump with its parts laid out

The new CPM 10V hard steel thrust washer machined to the corresponding radius of its seat

The machined end of the rear bushing is the thrust washer seat

The impeller is not symmetrical and only fits in the housing one way

The Thrust Washer is forced to spin with the impeller

We see the pin and the corresponding hole in the Thrust Washer

The original beside the new Thrust Washer

The original parts, the seat was completly worn off the rear bushing

There was a valve in the bypass hole it is being replaced with a plug

With assembly lube on the shaft and thrust washer and grease in the zerk it feels good when it turns

With a coat of paint it is mounted, hopefully it doesn't leak
