The governor control rod had some serious wear

Welded up and made round again

The paint booth opened up just long enough on the 7th of January

The freshly painted parts were carried inside to dry and turned out quite nice

The platform was the heaviest item out in the cold, mostly sheet metal left now

Now if I could only get purists to call this a rare hillside drawbar it could be installed as is

I can't even convince myself that it's a rare hillside drawbar. We'll see what a press can do for it

The press did its magic and it is as straight as need be

Now with a coat of Persian Orange the off-center hole is the only thing that stands out

There was a Manifold Stud Spacer on the front and rear stud, I only had one

With measurments in hand Gary turned a new one in short order, the only difference - no rust pits

It starts and runs nice with oil pressure through this period aftermarket bypass oil filter

Its fuel tank is not ready yet so a spare WD tank is strapped on temporarily
