This tractor most likely has been tipped over in the past, the radiator was more
of a rhombus than a rectangle, the drawbar had a bend that most likely was the pull point when trying
to upright it again, the hood was quite pushed in on the right side and was quickly hammered out with
a rather heavy hand so it would fit again.

It's been repainted still Persian Orange likely pre-1950 with long A and S decals on the hood

Lots of time with sheet metal hammers and clamps, it might be as good as I can get it

I plan to use the original hood but it is less than pristine

With it painted the stretched areas seem to show even more bulging, it really doesn't look good

The gas tank didn't fare very well to some incident in this tractor's past

Quite a large dent with a kink at each end

Hillmyer Radiator Services in Cokato MN attached pull points and pulled the dent up

I added some bondo and got it close, it will never win any prizes but will have to do

It turned out fairly well considering, so unless I find a better one from that period it's ready

I wish I could say I made the old hood look like this but I broke down and bought a new one from Kammerer Inc

The view the driver will see looks nice with the new hood
