I put penetrating oil in each spark plug hole after getting it home, hoping it would break free

But my patience only lasted a few days and I decided to pull the head

Both of these pictures show the broken valve spring on cylinder #2 intake valve if you look close

It is still wet from flushing the block

Cylinder #2 is the only one stuck, otherwise it doesn't look too bad for having sat out this long

Close-up before cleaning out the crud

A shaped wood block and a dead-blow hammer broke it free

After using a flex hone on all the sleeves and a good cleaning

The gas cap was missing and a mouse that had fallen in smelled really bad

I was pleased to see just one manageable hole on the bottom where water had pooled, this kept it drained

I bead blasted the whole bottom to see if any other holes opened up - none did

I soldered a piece of a copper washer over the hole

Rattle can primer and Old 55 Persian Orange, then the inside got a good pressure washing

This showed itself when I was servicing things before thinking of trying to drive it

I had a delete plate from a parts tractor, with it I was able to fill the transmission
