The previous owner kindly sent me this manual, one I did not have an original of.
I had a set of slightly used manifold gaskets I saved from a long ago teardown for this reassembly
This distributor got a complete cleaning and with a different coil it worked
The top of the carburetor leaked whenever the gas was turned on
The reason was found when it was bead blasted
I decided to scrap this carb as I had a pail of carbs to choose from
This one cleaned up nice and got the new carb kit
It stayed dry and ran well with this one
The steering wheel had most of the rubber gone and the sharp bits remaining were uncomfortable
I cut the spokes and split the hub just up to the shaft so it came off like this
The new one looks good and makes driving it much more pleasant
