What it looked like under the rocker arm cover

and the bottom side of the head

and the first look at why it is stuck

Cleaned up but still stuck tight

I was surprised when it actually moved

There is a rythmic knock when the starter spins it - perhaps why it was parked years ago

I removed all the valves and lapped them back to there respective seats

Gary resurfaced the manifold and took care of the broken bolts

Time to look into the carburetor and see if it is any good

It doesn't look like much to start with, I have a better one

I cleaned up a spare carburetor and a couple other parts and mixed up some paint

The gas tank was very clean and nice inside and looks nice with new Persian Orange

The manifold and carburetor are ready to go
