I decided to pull the engine and see what it looked like inside
Left to right 1 2 3 4 The center two pistons had rings that wouldn't have done much good
The oil pump working in the sludge that was in the oil pan really sucked the screen up tight
I removed the screen to clean and reshape
I cleaned the pump inside and out and pumped clean oil through it. Here with the screen looking like a bonnet

The crud was like a blanket around the rear sleeve
Some quality time with the pressure washer and it looks much better
The lower webbing cleaned with a flapper wheel so the o-rings have a good surface to seal
All the sleeves installed and the standout looks good
