Getting chained down for transport

TS-500 Loader IE-1087-AC and MARK-IV 1A-934-AC Backhoe

How it looked on the trailer, loader and backhoe removed for now

Pushed into the shed and loose juice added through each spark plug hole

While the penetrating oil is soaking in the stuck engine I pulled the distributor and cleaned it

With rocker arm cover removed it looks quite clean

First look under the head, number 1 cylinder is full of water with the added oil floating on top

With water ladled out, wiped clean, and honed it doesn't look too bad but it is stuck tight

It moved and with cleaning and honing while pistons are at their lowest it looks much better

Gentle persuasion with a shaped wood block and a dead blow hammer, and rocking tractor while in gear

What it looked like under the head

Some stuck exhaust valves so I removed them all for cleaning

Number 4 has seen some problems in the past
All cleaned up and lapped back to their respective seats

Lubed and cleaned it is ready to go back on

Mounted back on the block
