It looks and sounds great
The original battery tray on the left needed to be replaced
The replacement blasted and painted
A lot of disassembly is needed to get the battery carrier out
While this was apart I addressed the wood plug that was leaking on the back side of the head
I installed a rubber expansion plug from NAPA looks and seals a lot better
With the solenoid and coil resistor back in place
Ready to hold a battery again
I addressed the engine not coming up to temp at this time as well. The thermostat was stuck open
The bolts were stuck in the aluminum housing and broke. Not stuck in the cast iron a plier took them out.
Neal Gaarder did another fine job on the generator
Smooth tape is the mark of quality craftsmanship
But what was underneath really needed to be replaced
This is a very good slightly used replacement
The rebuilt worklight with a bright red LED bulb and new switch knob
The sealed beam white light still shining bright too
New eye-brows on the headlights dress them up nicely
