Some information on the D17
As it appeared at the auction
Just off the trailer later that day
A few weeks later it made it to the farm
It had leaks on both 1 and 4 exhaust ports so it didn't sound good
The manifold needs resurfacing to get 1 and 4 flat enough to seal up
The fender needed some hammering to make the work light bracket sit right
The work light and its switch needed a teardown and rebuild
To paint the wheel centers and repair the rims a set of 14.9 - 28 were installed
Quite a difference in height from 14.9 - 28 to 16.9 - 28 tires
A set of old WC wheels were put on front while its wheels were being addressed
The grill needed some straightening and blasting and new paint too
So it had to look pretty tough for a while
It sounded a whole lot better with the exhaust leaks sealed up
