The original center hood piece was bent likely from something falling on the tractor. The replacement shows
the support has been pushed down.

The rear of the battery tray can be seen to be bent down. I'm not sure I could make it perfect so the easiest
option is to make a couple of spacers to prop it up to the correct height.

The replacement hood panels are on for a test fit they will get bead blasted and painted. They are quite nice
and should only need a bit of tweaking and adjustment.


After a bit of attention and prep the hood panels are drying in the outdoor paintbooth.

The air cleaner cap really showed how bad it was with the newly painted hood. I had a box of assorted caps and things
from a sale that happened to have a very nice replacement.

Original factory photos show the air cleaner stack and cap were silver, and it does look nice painted that way.
