The foot clutch lever return spring was broken in a few places and couldn't offer much resistance

A new spring fixed that right up

The alternator didn't work so I opened it up found it needed a good cleaning at least.

The front bearing was dry and bad as well

I bought and installed a kit that had the Front Bearing, Regulator, Diode Trio, and Brushes. I also installed a diode on the
exciter line so can't supply current to the coil when the switch is off.

All of the hitch pieces had excessive wear. A&W Tractor makes these two parts new.

Both holes for the pins had been enlarged with a torch for some reason, and the clevis brackets were both broken off,
so it needed this trip to Gary's shop.

With bushings welded in place and new clevis brackets it is good to go again.

We got a couple of serviceable fenders, they needed a few holes welded up and a few dents pounded out. Here we see one ready
for paint and the other ready for the blast cabinet and the welder.

With the fenders, toolbox, and hitch installed.

The new side panels arrived and they were as red as the hitch parts above, so they were sanded a bit and coated with
Persian Orange on the side that faces the world.

Gary made some clamps like the parts book calls for to hold the hydraulic lines secure.

The side panels make it look so much more complete.

It is time to go to the field for a photo shoot, and we see how the corn is doing on the 21st of June.
